The 4th Transformer movie. Sequel never leave up to expectation. Plus Michael Bay's repetitive style. Sigh... story line can only
Massive earthquake in human cast:
Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager (left), Nicola Peltz as Tessa Yeager (middle), Jack Reynor as Shane Dyson (right)
No more cutie Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky), sexy bitch Megan Fox (Mikaela Banes) nor Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Carly Spencer).
Another human cast that I was surprised is
Steve Job looks-a-like Stanley Tucci as Joshua Joyce. A little history check on his career, he is also Caesar Flickerman in Hunger Games.
This time, autobots are limited in quantities, only
Dinobots are first introduce in Transfer movies. I thought they will have more interaction with other transformers but their air time is very limited. I didn't even manage to learn their names are their are gone.
Overall, only 1 Malay word can describe the story line: Rojak. They tried to put everything in a single movie w/o giving proper explanation. There are sufficient of action scene (from my POV) but the story doesn't make scene, lots of plot holes and non convincing ending. It's such a shame that these amazing 3D and CG is only accessories by this kind of plot.
Galvatron is Megatron. He survived, AGAIN!
The junk truck is Optimus Prime, duh....
Overall: 6/10 [I know the hype is not too much, not really a must watch, only mediocre.]
3D/CG: 9.5/10 [Yes, CG is very impressive. I know CG critique will not agree with me, but I think it's more than decent.]
Story: 4/10 [Sigh...]
Cast: 9/10 [No comment, Nicola Peltz is just a beautiful vas.]
