Homecoming (笑着回家)movie review

Just a short update. Been busy with assignment and report. I think the max post for now is 1 per week. Too exhausted~
Anyway, thanks to dear dear Jackie Loi for arranging a day out for me to help me run away from my work load for a while~
Photobucket
Watched the trailer few weeks before.
Only 1 word to describe:
LOL

XD

My favourite actress (cough~ actor)
Photobucket
梁智强 Jack Neo as Karen Neo
No disappointment.
Maybe I didn't gave too much of expectation, that why it came out to be quite awesome too!

Photobucket
阿牛 A Niu as Karen Neo's son: Ah Meng
I always know his ability, just that in his previous movie: 初恋红豆冰,the character has nothing much to develope. Ah Meng character provide better skill development.
I support you!

Photobucket
Afdlin Shauki as Zool, the taxi driver.
As usual, his funny magic never fails.

Well, the other actor/actress is performaing well too. Too bad I can give them cridit 1 by 1. If you are still not cinvienve by the trailer and my review, you can still go to their facebook page to know more!

My DiGi Done Right Camp Post-Event Review

Digi Done right Camp
It has been 1 week since I leave D'house for the Digi Done Right Camp. There were lots of good memories that I wanted to share with you. Let put a side all the yummies that the yellow man feed us.
Photobucket
No racists here, not ALL things in D'house is yellow.

Photobucket
At least not for the bread~

And also don't forget all the nice merchandise that generous yellow man gave us *^ ^*
merchandise from Digi

I should mention that there is more than yellow in D'house
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
Put aside all the YELLOW FRESH FLOWERS (believe me, they have other colors of flowers too, just that I didn't manage to find it yet :p) that they change every week on Sunday, there are actually very green.

Photobucket
This is what they call the "oxygen house".
There are limited parking spaces in D'house, hence the staff can only park into the building if they carpool to the office!

Even their stairs are Extra Ordinary
Photobucket
The painting were did by the Digizen and their kids. Above is the guided side
and below is the unguided side of wall which done by their kids!
Photobucket

Out of all the features in D'house. The most humorous would be this one:
Photobucket
Their meeting room has really special names!

Imaging this:

Aiyo, at lease give me a fake laugh lah, my 1st time doing comic strip leh.
I know I can be better.... next time.

Put a side all the nice features in D'house
(how many time I have mention "put aside" here? Must be the Prashan Chitty's poison,
Prashan Chitty
he always mention "put a side"~lol)

Most of the time, the impact for most camp is short. Some might be last for few weeks and some might be just few days. I didn't rush to make a review once I get off the camp because I really need to feel the impact on the camp. Until now, I can proudly announce that my life have change during the camp. Like U2 Kumar said, he is not the 1 who is changing us, but the people around us that change us!
Photobucket
(credit to Nikel khor @ http://www.nikelkhor.com/)

Can you believe that? How amazing it is! U2 Kumar might have lecturing us for a short period of 2 days but the impact he gave us is going to last for the rest of our life!
Don't quite get what I mean? See here:
Photobucket
Friends, especially those who I know from this camp have re-tweet and giving encouragement around Facebook and Twitter . And don't forget those supporters too! They are keeping in touch with us even after the camp. So called after sale service eh?
U2 Kumar's supporters

I mean U2 Kumar did teach me a lot within these 2 days but what more important is the people around us (which attended the camp) will continue to influence us after the camp. I never thought a camp will be that .....(can't find a word to describe it)... just plain WOW!!!

assume= make the ass out of "u" and "me"
Assume = Make the ass out of you and me

2 patters: XO & lousy
Energy -> Thoughts -> Feelings-> Action -> Patterns ->Results
There are only 2 patterns: (1) XO (extro ordinary) and (2) Automatic Robotic behaviour (which is lousy)

stop complain, blame, gossip, excuss
Stop complain, blame, gossip, excuse.

difference between big heart and small heart
Have a big heart. When other people have an achievement, proudly says:
I Support You!

positive words
Stop negative thoughts and starts using energize words!

I really can't explain what he taught 1 by 1, if you have a chance, you really might considering joining it yourself!
What I felt so deeply is the big heart- small heart lecture. At the end of the camp, all us really have a big heart. These are the winners for the HTC Aria. No one were told that by participating actively in the camp will get rewarded. I am not doubting myself for not being a contributor, but I am really happy for what they have achieve and cheer for them when they get their prize!

Rabiatul Adawiyah Zakaria and Rayyan Haries
I was really shock with the fact that I have transform from a green eye devil to be a really big hearted girl~

Even, if you are not interesting in U2 Kumar nor the camp (which you will end up loving it and request for extend after the camp :p), not even on the HTC Aria (which is not a guarantee in the next camp) you might see it as a gathering among friends.

Rayyan Haries
Meet the old pal Rayyan Haries.

Meet the self-call handsome boy Engtaukia

and you might be meeting someone that you will never thought you will be!

Thanks to Digi and Nuffnang for organizing such a wonderful camp for us. Thanks for all who support me "non-silently" from behind. I appreciate it very much.
Hope our friendship continues.

UTeM Scenary at Night

For those who follow my twitter or added me in facebook, you will know that I just lost Reddie. This is not a post to send remembrance to Reddie but how I go through my emo-ness.
After I lost Reddie, I felt terribly emo until I cried in front of Jackie Loi. * so embarrassingPhotobucket*
So, I decided to give myself a small treat with a tight budget. Wanted Secret Recipe but no time to travel, so I just found a local bread store and bought 1 slice of Tiramisu~Photobucket

Photobucket
Sat in front of the lake on the grass with a piece of cake of my left hand and my camera at right.
Look upon the sky....
ah.... it's full moon tonight!

Back to 3 years ago when I first found out that UTM don't want me and only got accepted by UTeM (note: BONUS letter "e"), I was quite depressed. I can only comfort myself that I still get the course I want.
Photobucket
Today, I fear no more to tell people around me that I am from UTeM.
Ranked as the 23th university by www.webometrics.info in our country and 2nd technical university after Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, UTeM as a new born university with age of 10 year (including it's university college period) wowed the country with great achievement. Just this afternoon, German Day was host by UTeM in Dewan Besar UTeM (picture above). A great amount of German company in Malaysia have booth and gave talk to student from both UTeM and secondary school pupils around Melaka.
Just to name a few Infineon, T-system, BMW, Volkswagen, Siemen etc.
Photobucket
I am proud to be a part of UTeM. Wish your continual succeed in the next 10 years of great excellence!

Don't Judge A Book By It's cove; Don't Judge A Head Of Technician By His Geek face!

As you may or may not know, today is a great day because I am finally in Digi Done right camp!!!!Align Center
Photobucket
Besides being able to visit the D'house (Digi HQ), I also meet with the "REAL" yellow man !!!
Nah, just joking, he is just Prashan Chitty a very cute Digi staff.

We have great food, meet with great peoples and most important learn great lesson.
Yeah, I know you should be thing like "so lame... motivation camp so boring" but just hold it right there!

The camp is just half way through but I have learn so many things today!

As my title mentioned, don't judge the book by it's title.
As easy as it mean literally, how many of us really practice it in our life?

Photobucket
Ok, do you know this guy?
Have you meet this guy before?
The nuffies please shut up~ *zip your mouth*
This guy named Timothy Teoh. I beg 99% of you don't know him.
He is actually the Head of Technician in Nuffnang.
Having those technical geek face really make me turn down when I first meet him.
In this camp, we were assign to groups and we have to be very active to earn points.
From my point of view, he is those kind of passive guy that just want to become a passenger for the team.
*>.<*
Wow... how terrible I am to label a guy that I don't know!

My first impression totally changed when we are in the treasure hunt session:
As an IT guy, he is so fast and efficient in solving the riddles. He passion to the game is totally unleash and help us our group won the game!

Photobucket

However, when we come back to lecture session, he came back to his own self 囧
He is the guy sitting at the edge and I am the only 1 who is sitting beside him.
Although I think he should change his attitude, but for things to change, I must change first!
This is the most important lesson I learn in the camp.
I try to approach him, encourage him to participate in the discussion. I feel that he is slowly making his move, but at the end of the day, he can still blends in and perform as a team ^ ^

Photobucket
I feel his participation is still not enough. Maybe what I did is still not enough to change him. There is no failure, it's just wrong result, so I have to change my strategy.
I hope I will be meeting him again tomorrow because I want to do it right!
I know I can make a difference.
Just in case you meet this guys, help me to give a pat on his shoulders and tell him:
"I support you"
or
"I know you (I) can be better"

Please help me to make a difference in his life and your life too!

Lunch at Tao Cuisine, Sunway Giza (review)

If you are familiar with this name, you either live in Penang/KL or visited Penang/KL very often. Well, Tao has 2 branch in Penang and another 2 in KL. Which is in Sunway Giza and The Curve. A friend of mine that had Tao a few time, proposed a Christmas Eve lunch at Tao.
"Why no" is my answer.

Photobucket
TAO Authentic Asian Cuisine Sdn. Bhd.

A: 2nd floor, No.2, Jalan PJU 5/14, PJU 5, Kota Damansara,

F: +6. 03. 6148. 5tao ( 826 )

For more information on operation hour and pricing, please click HERE

Although it is a All-U-Can-Eat buffet restaurant, it has a distinctly small food bar compare to other Japanese style buffet restaurant, such as Sibaraku and Jogoya.
bars
Food bars

dessert bar
Dessert Bar

salad bar
Salad Bar

The only reason that they have small bars is that most of the delicacies is only available on menu and serves on order basis.
For their menu, you can check it out at HERE

Green Tea
As usual, nothing beat a hot cup of green tea in a hearty buffet feast!
Tips: the only drink I will and always consume during buffet is tea ONLY. No sugar please.
Not only it neutralize the flavors in your mouth each time you change a course, it helps you digesting faster and feel less saturated. Now tell me, which drink is more money wise then?

Appetizer:
Beef and duck cut
Left: Beef slices Right: Duck slices
I personally think that these meat are a bit cold. I don't mean I don't like it to left cool after they're prepare it, it's just that they prepare it too early that the meat is chilled by the air-con.

various appetizer
Left to right: jelly fish, -bamboo shoo? I'll confirm again-, veges, scallops.
I like 1,3 and 4.
Jelly fish is very chewable so are the veggies. The texture of the viggies will cheat you that its some chicken peduncle. Nothing special about the scallop slices.

Cold Cut:
Smoked Salmon With Mix Veg.Roll
Smoked Salmon With Mix Veg .Roll
Is it smoked? Feel more like raw sashimi~
Mix veggies? Are there really veggies in the roll? I know there are some soft texture, like cheese or preserve bean-curd or something but it was too good to be unrolled just to discover what is inside. I just wanna open my mouth and keep munching on the great exotic taste.

abalone
Abalone
One of my favorite. No matter how it's cook/serve/saute, love abalone to the MAX!
I didn't expect them to have wasabi in the soy sauce. Not a big fans of wasabi, but it turns out quite ok too ^ ^!

Fried Dishes:
Age Gyoza
Age Gyoza
No special comment on this Gyoza. Chinese gyoza can be much better than that. Cantonese Gyoza is more compact and has elastic texture rather than soft and less compact texture offer by Japanese Gyoza. But Tao has offer me the best Japanese Gyoza so far.

Crrab Meat With Cheese
Crab Meat with Cheese
I like the cheese texture, but I just can't feel its crab from my tongue, a bit wasted.
But the outside is crunchy. Worth to try it, seriously!

Ko Ebi
Ko Ebi
Didn't know what we order until we saw it. It's deep fry shrimp and crabs, tiny soft skin crab.
Its crunchy too. I like the spices but not the mint.
Repeat: I like it's spiciness, it's salty, curry leaves but not the mint :(

Ham Asparagus Age
Ham Asparagus Age served with mustard sauce
The skin is very crunchy but dry. The ham is just so-so, not much spices.

Ham Asparagus Age's filling
But I can't see any asparagus ~
I think adding a layer of cheese will make it better?

takoyaki
Takoyaki
I was surprised. Tako ball has no tako inside!
Swt-__-||| Did they mince it?
If you are opt to try variety of foods, my advice is: tako ball is quite full.
Unless you come with a big group, else not really a must to try.

Grilled:
Chicken Teriyaki
Chicken Teriyaki
It's very well marinated and tender chicken tight comes with flavorful slightly sweet and flavorful sauce. After you try it -
OH~ I am in heaven~

Salmon Hiroyaki
Teppan Salmon
Sorry for the blurry photo *>.<* Try a few attempt and it's still blur~ curse of the were salmon~
Not as good as some 5 star salmon steak, but it's quality is up to its standard.
I prefer smoked salmon but this one is very worth to try also ^ ^

Main dish:

Three Cup Chicken
Three cup chicken
I have no idea why this Chinese dish's name is named like that.
Too bad, it isn't boneless. Else I can give it 95%
The flavor is just nice, just that it's a bit cool. Very worth to try.

TEPPAN SCALLOP
The legendary Teppan Scallop
All my friends that went to Tao comment that their scallop is a must try.
I didn't have special interest on it even thought I was like eating the whole plate alone.
I think the sauce were made by mayonnaise mixed with chili sauce and herbs. The sauce is not my favor and the scallop is a bit too small and not fresh. Been spoil by mom's giant scallop porridge.
Maybe scallop are just not in season~

Noodle soup:
Goma Chicken
Goma Chicken
Note that this dish is with alcohol (sake)
I don't really like this, I didn't even finish my portion. The soup is very salty and the chicken is very bitter. Just not my taste. You have to try with courage.

Steam dishes:
Steam Gyoza
Steam Gyoza
The steam version of Age Gyoza. The skin is nice but not the filling. Disappointed also~

BBQ:
bbq seafood
BBQ squid, prawn, chicken, fishes etc.
There are a wide range of raw food, from seafood, chicken, mushrooms etc.
It's prepared by specially trained chef, not like those you bake grill yourself on the net~
There are different spices for different material, hence different flavors.
Although the others looks so charming, this is one thing you can't miss.

Dessert:
ice-cream
Ice-cream with Chocolate coating
Although Tao do not serve big-big ice-cream brand like Jogoya, they do provide enough variety for you too choose!

dessrt-chocolate puff, cheess tart, puff, cake
From left to right: Cheese puff with chocolate coating, cheese tart, chesse tart w/o chocolate coating, cake.

chocolate coated puff
Cheese puff with chocolate coating
OMG! I never expect cheese puff with chocolate coating can be THAT nice! ^ ^
*Jakun* never had cheese puff with chocolate coating.
Well, cheese puff is just so-so. No as good as the Sibaraku one, but also much better than what Jogoya offers.
But, when puff meets the choco
PUFF!
(pun intended)
They matched to the very end like a pair of puzzle pieces!
